Dr. Larry Udoff
is currently the residency director at University of Maryland in
the Reproductive Endocrinology Division of the Dept of OB/GYN. He is the
recipient of multiple national honors including the National Faculty Award
(CREOG). Most importantly, he makes the field of REI easy to understand, and
gives you all you will need to know for the exam in an easy, relaxed and
understandable fashion.

Dr. Edward Podczaski
heads up the department of GYN Oncology at The Pennsylvania State
University School of Medicine. He has authored multiple articles, book chapters
and is consultant to the 'Green' Journal, Cancer, and Gynecologic Oncology
Journals. Of more importance, however, are the multiple presentations he has
delivered nationwide, not to mention recently, being the recipient of a
national award for excellence in resident teaching. He is a phenomenal lecturer
on the national OB/GYN lecture circuit making the subject of Gyn Onc seem simple
and easy.

Dr. Tony Sciscione
heads up our MFM wing. Having trained at Johns Hopkins
university for his fellowship, he is now Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is also the Residency Program
Director at Christiana Care Health System. His involvement goes further: he is
actively involved in the PROLOG publication and a writer for the Part II
National Board of Medical Examiners. Furthermore, he is the recipient of
countless teaching awards at the national level (CREOG, Resident Teaching and
APGO to name a few).

Dr. Margaret Miller
graduated from Emory University. She is
nationally unique since she is trained as an internal medicine
specialist but has chosen to specialize and work in a unique OB
consultant clinic staffed by internists! She is thus uniquely positioned
to lecture on primary care topics. This view is echoed by our
candidates’ feedback: ‘Never before have I heard such a clear, inclusive and interesting perspective on primary care!’ She has been invited to
make multiple presentations both regionally and nationally, and has played a
central role in the teaching of medical students and residents. She is a welcome
addition to our faculty.

Dr. Fouad Abbas
was originally trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He
graduated Summa Cum Laude and is currently Head of Department of
Gynecological Oncology at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Dr.
Abbas has incredible teaching abilities. Those who have been fortunate
to have him as their teacher uniformly speak of his incredible energy,
understanding of the subject, and ability to pass this knowledge onto others.

Dr.
Louis Foley: We were extremely fortunate to discover Dr Foley when he
attended one of our courses as an exam candidate! His flair for presentation and
teaching became immediately evident, such that he was invited to join our
faculty shortly thereafter. He is the recipient of the Clifford Powell Memorial
Award for Excellence in Teaching and also received the honor of "Outstanding
Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon!"

Dr. Diane Harper,
how does one condense a 56 page resume into 1 paragraph? It is impossible to do
justice to her credentials! Suffice to say that Dr Harper not only has an MD
degree, but also received an SB and SM degree from MIT. She is board certified
in family practice medicine and also an associate member of ACOG. She is a
referee for over 30 journals (including Lancet, JAMA, Journal of Reproductive
Medicine and NEJM). She has received countless awards nationwide for excellence
in teaching and is also actively involved in academics on an international
scale, with countless publications to her name. Dr Harper is clearly one of
those phenomenal people who succeeds at whatever she does. We are indeed
fortunate to have such an august member on our faculty.

Dr. Al Sarno received his BA prior
to obtaining his MD at USC. He went on to complete his MFM fellowship
(again at LAC/USC) and a Masters degree in Public Health from Johns
Hopkins University, all while reaching the rank of Lt. Col in the US
Army Medical Corps. He has received multiple honors: Graduate degree
Summa Cum Laude, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Best Clinical
Paper to name a few. He is involved internationally in the field of
nuchal translucency and ultrasound. He is presently Clinical Associate
Professor at Temple University, School of Medicine. He has more than 100
presentations and invited lectures to his name, as well as two book
chapters. He will lecture on cardiovascular and respiratory physiology,
pathology and thrombo-embolism in pregnancy and placental-uterine
physiology. |

Dr. Cande Ananth
heads up our Biostatistics division. He is currently Professor of Obstetrics and
Gynecology as well as Director for the Division of Epidemiology and
Biostatistics at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His exhaustive 61 page
resume reveals a PhD, MPH, MS and BS degrees. He is involved with CDC and NIH,
has advised on countless theses, is on the editorial boards of multiple
publications, is the recipient of multiple awards and has directed various
courses in epidemiology and biostatistics. With over 175 publications to his
name, he is widely recognized as an authority in his field. |

Dr. Valerie Watiker
is our genetics specialist. Her training originated in pediatrics and soon led
to an interest in genetics. She has
been invited to give several presentations on multiple topics relating to
genetics. All this has increasingly led her to a teaching role at Cedars-Sinai
Hospital for which she is well known. |

Dr. James Airoldi
rose to the ranks of MFM
specialist mostly via Thomas Jefferson University. Amongst his multiple awards
are the National Deans List, Alpha Omega Alpha and several Best Teacher awards.
He is highly sort after as a guest speaker at review courses and grand rounds
lectures throughout the country. He has multiple publications (most of which
have him as the primary author) including several book chapters and countless
abstracts. |

Dr. Shailen Shah
fits perfectly into the ExamPro
philosophy of excellence in teaching. Starting with a BS (with highest
distinction) and then going on to get his MD Cum Laude, Dr Shah completed his
residency and MFM fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in
Philadelphia, where he continues to be Co-director of Critical Care Obstetrics.
He has received multiple awards and honors, many for his teaching skills. He is
the author of multiple publications and book chapters, and lectures widely in
his field of expertise, cardio respiratory issues in obstetrics, both locally
and internationally. |

Dr. Mike Richman
has been part of the ExamPro faculty for
almost 10 years. His training took him through Emory University, and despite
being the recipient of several awards, author to several publications and
successfully head of a private practice in Baltimore, it is his lecturing skills
that attract him to ExamPro.

Dr. Cynthia Hall
joins the ExamPro faculty in the area of Urogynecology. She is presently
the Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive
Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. In addition to
multiple academic publications an extensive research, she is a
distinguished lecturer, having delivered presentations both locally and
internationally. She is well received as a lecturer and teacher and has
lectured at countless grand rounds as well as other national educational
courses.

Dr. Harry Chaffin is our expert on ovarian function and disease
states for our REI board review course. Having received degrees in
Reproductive Toxicology, Biological Sciences and Psychobiology, he is
presently associate professor at the University of Maryland’s Dept of
OB/GYN and Reproductive Sciences. He has received multiple awards, been
significantly involved in graduate course development and received
multiple teaching awards. He has published extensively: over 30 peer
reviewed journals, 9 book chapters, 60 abstracts, not to mention the 20
seminars in which he has lectured. Dr. Chaffin will amaze you with his
easy-going and effective teaching style.

Dr. Borowsky recently joined our GYN Oncology
service. After receiving his training at Cornell and repeatedly making
the Dean's List, he is currently the director of the Division of GYN
Oncology at Christiana Care, Delaware. He has received multiple awards,
including excellence in resident education. He is often requested to be
guest speaker at multiple institutions as well board review courses. He
is known for his engaging style of lecturing.

Dr. Babak Vakili joins our
Urogyn faculty. Having trained at Jefferson ( Philadelphia ) and
Johns Hopkins
(Baltimore), he went on to complete his training in urogynecology at the
University of Texas . Like all our faculty, he too has countless
presentations and publications to his name. Of most interest to us at
ExamPro, however, is his list of received honors. This list is
extensive, and mostly related to excellence in teaching. He has received
these awards from local hospitals through to CREOG and APGO.

Dr. Andrew Malinow currently heads up the Section of OB Anesthesia at
University of Maryland. His training is highlighted with an BSc
(Bioengineering) at Johns Hopkins and Obstetric Anesthesia at Brigham
and Women's Hospital. He has received multiple awards for excellence,
teaching as well as countless 'Top Doctor' awards. He is on the
editorial boards of almost a dozen journals and has lectured almost
annually at the ASA annual meeting refresher course. He has written 20
textbooks chapters, multiple book reviews, 36 articles and almost 50
abstracts! He has also lectured widely both nationally and
internationally. |

Dr. Hytham Imseis
started off being on the Deans List, showed leadership through residency
before going on to receive much of his training at Duke and Tulane
Universities. He recently held the position Residency Director at Chapel
Hill where he currently works. He has received countless awards for
excellence in teaching, from CREOG, APGO and ACOG. He has furthermore
lectured and directed multiple courses on various aspects of OB. He is
on the editorial board for several publications (including AJOG and J of
Reproductive Medicine) and has multiple publications and textbook
contributions to his name. He is renowned for his dynamic style of
teaching. |
